Things I make for fun. Side projects, experiments and things I’ve printed. Everything here works, so have a poke around.

Foil Bible

A free guide to wingfoil spots, written by the people who ride there.

Forecast apps tell you when it’s windy. They don’t tell you where to launch, how deep it is, what the rules are or where to park. That knowledge lives in locals’ heads and WhatsApp groups, so I built a place for it.

Anyone can add a spot or suggest an edit without an account. Nothing goes live until I’ve read it, and whoever starts a guide is credited on the page for good. I kept the design plain on purpose, closer to Wikipedia than an app, with one loud green moment at the top.

I designed it and directed the build in Claude over a weekend. It isn’t a template: it’s a custom site on a real database (Supabase), with a contribution flow, a review queue where I approve every edit, and the rules for what does and doesn’t get published. It’s in beta, with the first UK spots listed and the first guides being written. Longer term, I’d like it to become the source of local spot knowledge that forecast apps can plug into.

Accent magazine

Accent is a print magazine I art directed and designed. This is issue two, from Andrew Logan’s Alternative Miss World to New Orleans’ Southern Cavalry and a fleet of art cars.

Pick it up, then drag a page to turn it, tap either side, or use the arrow keys.

Somesuch Stories

Somesuch Stories Five, The Action Issue. I designed this 300-page book of new writing, with the type on the cover and spine printed in an iridescent foil.

Move across the cover to catch the light, then pick it up and flick through.
